Think pizza can’t be healthy? Then think again!
The Mediterranean diet has long been famous for it’s mainly vegetable based ingredients and unsaturated fats. Many of these ingredients are considered superfoods and so here’s a recipe for a ‘superfood’ pizza that you can put together easily and quickly using ingredients all available here on our website.
All these toppings are packed full of nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants as well as being incredibly tasty.
If you wish to make it even healthier and lower the calories a little, simply use a bit less cheese. You could even skip the cheese altogether for a very low calorie option!
Ingredients:
1 x HPC sourdough pizza dough ball or pizza base
80g Mozzarella cheese
20g Dried Tomatoes
20g Artichokes Hearts
20g Pitted Black Olives
20g Capers in White Wine Vinegar
Chilli Oil

This pizza will be very enjoyable with a large glass of quality Italian red wine such as a Chianti!
